Since the holidays are rapidly approaching and you will suddenly have 2409240 events to go to, I wanted to share two day to night fashion looks that are so easy, but also not overly festive {I say this because I really don’t like having pieces that are one-time use only or one-occasion use only – makes sense}.
I’m not going to BS around with you – getting ready is like a choreographed circus in my house. Eddie oversees the kids, while I’m applying my foundation then switch while he jumps in the shower then switch I curl my hair… you get the picture. Schlepping these kids around from event to event is a coordinated effort too, so I cannot overthink the outfit in that moment. *Helpful Hint * Remember when you were little and you used to set your clothes out the night before? When I’m going somewhere {aka I’m not in my activewear}, I pull my clothes out so I don’t have to think about it and voila it’s done.

Casual Daytime
If I haven’t mentioned this before, invest in a graphic tee, because it’s one of those I’m-not-trying-too-hard-but-I-look-cool musts. I also love a graphic tee that shows a little bit of your personality and this one with Biggie feels like it was made for me {remember my twins hip hop themed 1st birthday?} that happened. Also, get yourself a pair of these high rise distressed jeans, because they just say you are a bad ass. Top this look with some studded heels or cool sneaks and you are good to go.

Edgy Nighttime
Give me a sequin and I’m a happy gal. I love this look because its got an edge and hellllo sequins are festive AF. Also, it gives off the cool girl look without wearing something red, velvet, etc.
