Quick story for you. Nearly 6 months ago, my sweet friend Colleen who you may remember from 29 with Breast Cancer , had suggested that I share my favorite activewear brands you should be wearing. I live in activewear and wear them way more than I do regular pants, so I’ve spent several months trying every brand under the sun to share my top picks with you and most importantly why. The Most Flattering, No Muffins Here Kind-Of Leggings
I LOVE a high-waisted legging {I mean is there any other kind ?} but these are like a suction cup to your stomach especially when you are feeling like you need a little vanity boost. Enter Beyond Yoga. You’ve seen me on stories wearing these 30532590 times also here, here and here. All of the pants have a very thick band that hit your hips at the hip bone which makes it always very flattering. Also, you can expect soft fabrics that don’t break down over time – much appreciated!
Best Lululemon Dupes Without Paying Lulu Prices
Here’s the deal. To be honest, I’m not crazy about Lululemon {for me} because every pair I’ve had looks sad after a few months. For that much money per pair, ain’t nobody got time for that but I still love the fit, so what is a gal to do? Introducing to you Yogalicious! My girl Madison from Sweet Tea With Madi told me about them and she was 100% right. These legit look, feel and fit at about 1/2 or less the price point. Sold! I have two pairs and have worn and washed them several times – totally worth it.

Pick a top with a fun print and go solid on the bottom. They have fun textured bottoms too that make your everyday leggings way cuter.

I’m just going to cut to the chase. Once I had the twins, my ass went out with the kids, no matter how many squats, booty exercises and lunges I do. Nothing. Mama needs some help in that department, so Ultracor is the booty builder, booty making and shaping go-to choice. They do not feel like any other activewear – think bodycon in silk almost. The built in spanx-esque type situation is the contributing reason for giving a no-ass girl like myself a rump. However, they do come with a higher price tag, but they are completely worth it as they truly hold up the test of time and don’t lose their shape, sheen, nothing. I’m obsessed and its top in activewear brands you should be wearing.
The Versatile Feel Goods
There’s a real reason why you’ve seen me in Alala all year long – here and here just to remind you – it’s because they just make me feel good. I have several pairs of Alala leggings and they fit like a glove every single time – always with a little give too, know what I mean? Also, this oversized sweatshirt is SO cute! I wore it with shorts and snuggled up with it when the AC is on too high. It’s like a hug that you need all year long.
The Ones That Will Grow With You
Fun fact. When I was pregnant with the twins, I wore Splits59 leggings as they grew as I grew. Don’t you want a pair that mold to you? Mmm hmm. These are it and since you KNOW right now I live in a biker short and love a neon, this is the pair to buy.
