You know what the absolute worst thing ever is? Bathing suit shopping. Even worse? Spending hundreds on something that barely covers your parts that you may wear a few times over the summer {if you are lucky!}. I tried on so many damn bathing suits just to share my top picks for you that look good, will make you feel good aka your cheeks won’t be hanging out and all of them are under $25 on Amazon Fashion!

So here’s the truth, we all have things we like and don’t like about ourselves, but I think we can all mutually agree that no one and I mean NO one wants a muffin top, because it just isn’t cute. I also generally don’t like low rise bikinis because what are vacations for without the extra guac and no one should feel bad, right? This means in my mind a high-waisted is the only option or a sculpted one-piece.

Seen here in Kelly Kapowski neon pink, she’s a classic and leaves you room to eat! The fit was good as it didn’t cling in the stomach but wasn’t also ass-cheeky. Did I mention she’s only $22? I had to take my lewk to a Real Housewives level with this gold sequin jacket and d-r-a-m-a-t-i-c statement necklace. Other perks – great side boob.
The Saint Tropez All White
All white everything – so damn flattering because – again – high-waisted AND under $20. Again no muffins here and fits well, but not too tight. I love a good cover-up and this light and lacy kimono can be worn over jeans later or throw on a pair of loose pants and you are good-to-go. I tied a scarf for that Saint Tropez effect {hey, I may be in DC, but I don’t have to look it!} and tied it altogether with a lucite heel, which I have worn way more than I thought I would. It gives you that Yeezy look without paying that Yeezy price.
That Viral Bikini
You’ve probably seen this bathing suit 29420924 times online, so I had to try it to see what all the hype was about and if it lived up to my expectations. I will be honest, it’s f-ing adorable. Having said that you want to size up a little on the bottoms {again for the pool-side Margs and guac}, but that’s totally doable. I like a little more give on the bottom – you know? I paired this with my favorite slides for the moment and the sunnies you see me wearing {I have them in black and gold I love them that much}.
Pretty In Prints
I LOVE a leopard print right now and again the neon orange is making a reappearance. This high-waisted bikini sucks you in -in all the right places, but is also the cheekiest of all of them. Did I mention it’s only $19! I’m loving the small sunglasses trend by the way – try it with some ultra cheap sunnies so you can take it or leave it without the investment. Also Barbie feet always with or without the heels on – no judgement, okay?
My Top Pick !
Hands down this one gets my vote for the best fit, quality, style, all of it! This is like spanx in bathing suit form and comes in a ton of colors for only $21! I found this Gucci dupe headband and through on my favorite sunnies and lucite heels again. A home run! This fits so well it doubles as a bodysuit. Don’t think twice about it.
