3 Tips To Your Best Hair Ever

I hardly wash my hair

No, but really I wash it maybbbbbbe twice a month. *Stop judging me I see you! I still wash my body! helloo!* I know everyone is on that dry shampoo kick and so am I, but I use it sparingly. I’ll caveat this in two ways:

  1. You have to train your hair to go the distance. I work out everyday and you are going to have to look like a greasy mess for one extra day to push your hair one extra day. Makes sense?
  2. I don’t use dry shampoo everyday, only when I need it and it’s starting to look crazy.

I kid you not, usually by day 10 is when I get the most ‘omg your hair looks so great’ comments. Day 10! Let that marinate for a moment. This is THE dry shampoo – Batiste in a hint of color. I swear by – I’ve tried them all and all roads point back to this. The key is to get it in a hue close to your hair color.

Invest in Sulfate-Free Shampoo + Conditioner

I have also done my homework with trying 2340983 million types of shampoos and L’Oreal’s Everpure Purple shampoo and conditioner are my jam. I love the purple shampoo and conditioner, because it helps fight brassy tones, while giving me that va-va-volume, texture and – of course -preserving my color. I’ve tried all the expensive brands, but this is the one that I use religiously and have been for over a year.

Coconut Mask Treatment

You know the coconut oil you can buy on amazon or trader joe’s? I buy that and I use that. I let it sit on my ends once a month and just lock in the goodness.

So that’s it for now! I’m thinking of doing a hair tutorial on how to get the waves, what do you think?

Till next time –
