How Often Should I post?
If you are a blogger and you have nothing to post… DON’T
Look, there’s a reason why you don’t see me throwing up some shitty photo on @everydayvogue. If I have nothing to say, no value to bring you, I just won’t do it.
If you are a business
This is different. You should be posting something nearly everyday or at least on stories. Your business relies on people seeing you and remembering you. YOU MUST POST ON STORIES ON YOUR FEED EVERYDAY.
Stop Sleeping On Pinterest
Pinterest is one of the biggest drivers of traffic for my blog and my clients who are working with me on this. It is not enough to pin randomly, it requires it’s own strategy; however, doing it is better than NOT doing it.
Stop Putting All Efforts On One Platform
Remember last year when Instagram decided to change their algorithm and f’ed up everyone’s stats and engagement? What if it went down and you relied on it as your ONLY portfolio, your only revenue source, you’d be pretty screwed. This is why websites, blogs, Facebook, Pinterest are STILL important. At the end of the day you don’t own Instagram, you don’t own Facebook, but you do own the content you create, so keep it safe.
And of course… if you don’t like social media for your personal or your business you are basically saying you don’t care if someone sees you or not. Let’s chat. What else do you want to know? Don’t be shy and ask!
